Great idea to make La Bouganville a nice side trip from Lugano. A quick walk from the apartment in Lugano and onto the local ferry that takes you to Gandria. Swiss Half Fare gets you there in 40 minutes for only $ 12 euro while also stopping at 3 places along the way—cool opportunity to enjoy the lake and take some photos. Then, the gorgeous little town of Gandria sends you up some stairs in the narrowest of pathways between gorgeous buildings, apartments, and restaurants until you come across La Bougainville. Some great pastries, quiches and juices can be chosen from - ALL DELICIOUS!. Then make sure you have some hiking shoes because this restaurant is on the famous Olive Tree Trail.
