Restaurant Roccabella — Restaurant in Lugano

Made a reservation to the table in the corner was late 10 min and she says it was given away while there was only us in the restaurant, we sat and the lady for some reason out of no where said oh i know you dont drink milk and dont eat meat? While we do! , she was so talkative and touchy while my family sitting with me, the way she acted with us was so strange she throws the menu at me when i ask something about the dish and acts as if i am stupid at first i was oh maybe this is the culture in Switzerland? But no! I went to couple restaurants after they were way better and better staff, i wont recommend this place to anyone. Overall the food was okay and priced are not worth it at all. We came by boat from Lugano with a tour group. Peter the owner and his wife were fun and very welcoming. Had a first course of lasagna which was good. Second was veal or fish with veggies and small roasted potatoes. Very tasty. The fish had the bay leaves fried into edible crisps which was original and nice. Dessert of tiramisu. We happened upon this charming restaurant after walking the Olive Trail. The food was phenomenal- lasagna and ravioli with porcini mushroom cream sauce- all home made.
