Gandria is so pretty, and there are a few restaurant options in the tiny, lakeside village. We went here because they had a risotto that didn't require a minimum two-person order. I had a lake trout. The waiter, who has likely been working there for years, was very kind and accomodating - when I realized we'd be longer than the 1-hour I put in the parking meter (don't come by car, it's not so convenient - most people come by boat from Lugano), I asked for some change from him for the meter before our food came out, made a dash for it, and in the meantime he had kept my fish in the oven so it'd be warm when I got back....
