Moments — Restaurant in Meyrin

I’ve dined here multiple times as a guest of the hotel. This review is in relation to the lunch and dinner service as I don’t think the breakfast is a part of the “moments” brand.

The menu on the website is not what is served in the restaurant. Items like the Bouillabaisse are no longer served. The winter menu was better.

The food is good, but the dinner menu is a bit too conceptual. For example the lasagna is nothing like a lasagna and what reads like a French onion soup is nothing like a French onion soup. Really wish the menu was a little more up front about what you’re getting. Neither were bad but just set the correct expectations.

the lunch tasting menu is great value, but other dishes are overpriced, imagine paying 35CHF for a simple club sandwich with very little meat.

The service here almost great. Somehow I’ve run into the same awkward situation twice. After dinner, I’ve declined dessert and additional drinks then the waiter disappears. I would expect the check. Instead I end up having to track down the waiter one more time for the check. I suppose I should be more explicit that we are done and...

After staying at the Marriott for a week and being served exactly the same choices of food every single day I was very bored of their relatively bland and uninspiring food.

Despite the number of Asians and customers from the ME here there was nothing for us.

No noodles except insulting pot noodles!

No fried rice.

No sushi, no curry, nothing from Asia just to add choices and spice things up.

Nothing except what you would expect from a 1 or 2 star hotel buffet but the problem is that having the same boring breakfast in a 4 star high end hotel was not what I expected.

A real lack of imagination and missed...

We were dining at the "Moments" on 10th of July 2023 and it was not a chosen restaurant, but rather a convenience place, I can't share enough positive emotions by very exciting and super tasty experience at the "Moments". The Kitchen crew out did themselves and being a seasoned traveler I believe this place deserve at least a "Michelin" star. Great job in food preparation and serving.
