Discrimination to Asian? Ignoring a customer's reasonable demand. At around 10pm, I was about to fall asleep but someone outside knocked my door(sounds "Koong, Koong, Koong" like smashing). I was so astonished, I thought 'is there a fire?!' But when I opened the door, no one was around a circular corridor except two boys(looks early teenages) running down the staircase. I was suspicious them but there were no evidence so I decided to forget about this and went back to sleep. About 10mins later the same knocking happened again. Since I was about to fall asleep, the smashing sound was enough to make me mad. I jumped out of the bed and opened the door, and again, no one was around. I guessed someone hid around the corner of the elevator wall where I couldn't see at my view. Fortunately a hotel crew was on the downstairs so I asked him to come up. Coming up, he watched the two boys hiding themselves from me. The boys walked to the elevator and just say 'sorry' in a sour way. I told them 'where is your room? What is your room number? bring your parents' and also I asked the staff to bring the boys parents to me. So the crew got on the elevator with the boys. And it passed a half hour. So I called reception desk why they hadn't responsed to my complain yet. The receptioninst didn't understand what I said and said she didn't know what the situation was. She asked me to come to the ground floor and talk in person. When I went down and explained the situation, she seemed already knew what happened. She mentioned the male crew's name and what she heard from him. But she's response was 'they are just kids. The hotel can't engage in customer's private happening. We can't find them via CCTV as well.' The only thing I just wanted was sincere sorry from the parents of them to me for having bothered my comfort sleep two times intentionally because of lack of etiquette of their children. The cold-mind mention of saying sorry from the children, the staff's reaction having ignored my demand in the end, and the receptionist's passive reception... I couldn't help but leave a review.
Among all the happening during an hour I felt I was being discriminated quietly. My business trip at Nash Suite Airport was totally unforgettable gross memory. I don't want to stay at Nash Suites, never again. And, for Asians who want to mess their trips experiencing what quiet discriminating is, I definitely recommend Nash.

Read moreHaving had a really terrible stay at Novotel Ferny Voltaire on our outbound trip, we cancelled for the return trip and booked Nash Suites. instead. Very pleasantly surprised. Super friendly check-in staff; comfortable bed; well looked after hotel and rooms had elec shutters on the outside of the windows for complete black out.. including blackout curtains too. Nice bathroom with bath (some rooms have only a shower.. so make sure to check!), small kitchenette with fridge /kettle /coffee maker/ sink and microwave. All rooms have late check out at 12.00 included and also a free public transport pass for Geneva (inc bus, train, tram and water bus, plus some attractions), so if you have a few hours to kill before a flight this is great. Downstairs in hotel is a small fitness room with weights and running machine plus sauna. The free shuttle bus runs from early until quite late in the evening (rotating every 20 minutes), the driver was extremely pleasant & the mini bus was large. Shuttle took all of our big suitcases with ski equipment AND a big bag full of skis!. If you are toying with the idea of this hotel versus a hotel on the French side.. then definitely go with this hotel instead. Its easy booking with free cancellation on various platforms. FYI a small (per person) city tax of approx 16-20 francs (in total) for a family of 5 is payable at the hotel😊 Also, for your onward trip the next day there is a boulangerie a two minute walk up the road and also 3 petrol stations nearby have small supermarkets in them. ..or an Aldi...
Read moreI have just come back from a 2 night stay at this hotel. It could have been better but at least it wasn't horrendous.||The good:|Great location less than 10 mins walk to the airport. There is also a shuttle from the airport to the hotel and back every 20 mins or so. The rooms are also pretty clean and have a coffee machine with pods, microwave, fridge and bottled water.||The bad:|The USB sockets in my room were broken. Not a problem in itself but I didn't have the correct adaptor so couldn't charge my phone using a normal plug. Went down to reception to see if they had an adaptor but they didn't but offered to charge my phone if I left it with them. I left it for over an hour and it wasn't even charge to 15% so don't know what the deal was with that. Since I didn't have much battery I asked for a wake up call the next day for 8am but this wasn't done - thankfully I had woken up by my own volition but I could have missed my trip for the day if I hadn't. Also annoyingly I wasn't told that the city tax includes public transport. I received an email in French 3 days prior but didn't read it as my French isn't that great. But at check-in when I paid it nobody explained this and so I ended up spending money on public transport that was free.||Overall it wasn't an awful stay but I probably wouldn't stay again. The room was reasonably cheap but I think you can get a better standard for not...
