Pinte au XXème siècle — Restaurant in Morges

4 of us have gone for lunch today there and it was simply a disaster: We have never seen slower service, the french-fries were forgotten, so we got them only at the end when we were already finished with our meals. The Cesar salads had no salad (lettuce) in it. Still, there was enough chicken, dry bread and cheese, but no salad at all. No salt/pepper/oil at the table, you must ask for it, but the waitress is never there. Waiting for the bill - around half an hour. She never asked us if we wanted a coffee or desert and, frankly, we had no time anymore for coffee as we had spent half an hour waiting for the bill... Never again there! The terrace was empty, we were generally the only guests, why was it so hard to serve us? We'll never know, but we were very upset with that lousy service. The food was not too bad, but you can't enjoy it when the waitress is upset to see you, as if you were spoiling her day by coming there?! Very strange...

Lovely restaurant. I'm visiting Switzerland for business purpose and lived closeby to this restaurant. Wanted to give it a try and really amazing food. The servers were polite and explained me the food names because I don't know French. The price is normal like other restaurants around and I liked the drinks. Food quality was amazing and I almost thought to order another plate but was already drunk. Went there with my colleague and it's a lovely...

We ended up by accident in the town of Morges. The same accident led us to this lovely cafe restaurant where we had the pleasure of experiencing some of the most typical dishes of Switzerland, like an amazing fondue or a lovely creamy dessert. The owner was very nice at all times and the bill, despite including a bottle of wine and three courses, was very affordable. I'll have definitely come back if I happen...
