Caffè Spettacolo — Restaurant in Neuchâtel

Very unfriendly staff. Today my friend and I walked in the store to see if it is suitable for study. Within 5 seconds, The staff came to ask us what are we looking for, I first responded with friendly greetings, then told him why we were there and he started saying” you are not allowed to be here if you don’t order things.” I never expressed that I am going to stay here without order things yet he showed very unfriendly attitude towards us. Not sure if he treated us that way it’s because we are minority or not, but it’s definitely a wow experience for my first day...

This is a great place to have a nice no fuss meal. The food is tasty and nutritious (like the omelette croissant or the anti pasti sandwich hot or cold) they have a great choice of drinks (homemade lemonade, freshly squeezed orange juice, matcha latte, chai latte, oat/soy/almond milk cappuccino etc). They have single seats with plugs by the window, which is quite enjoyable when you are by yourself. The service is fast and welcoming. Also, I saw someone is saying the toilet is not free, but as far as I know you can simply give the ticket to the bar and get...

We ordered a cappuccino and a hot cocoa. Both tasted quite funny. I suspect the milk to be bad. Cappuccino was also bland and I could barely taste the coffee in it. Quite disappointing considering the price. The croissant was decent. Nothing spectacular but ok. The orange juice was also not fantastic.

Toilet isn't free either.

Will probably not use this place again, much better stuff in the restaurant car on our way to the...
