Lang's Café im Metropol — Restaurant in Neuhausen am Rheinfall

I went there with my colleges for breakfast break, and we were very well served, but when it came for payment, i gave a 50fr note and the lady gave me , 8fr in return, as strange as it looks i asked her, "i gave 50" she said no you gave 10 i insisted, even with a friend still in the table while the others left, she asked him "he gave 10 right?" and he said "dont know" then when he left she , started saying i gave 20fr, i was like what??? I was starting to run out of patience, until she gave me the correct money, back even so she was still doubting , very bad!! Also another college told me that he was going there for a week and the prices where constantly changing, and he was eating the same thing!! Getting scamed by restaurantes causes a sever...

Wonderfully welcoming Cafe where you can eat a fresh and copious salad. When you think "salad" you might think of some sad green leaves and a light meal, but salads here are a real feast. The young man at the counter is very attentive to all needs/allergies and knows ingredients as he is the one preparing the meals. I cannot recommend enough - even though I would have liked the place to have a cozier look and comfy sofas, it is our favourite place near the Rheinfalls. The numerous gluten free desserts...

Vor etwa 10 Jahren wurde ich hier richtig unfreundlich und schlecht behandelt. Es war Rheinfallfest, das Gedränge riesig und ich musste dringend auf Toilette. Also dachte ich, ich frage im Restaurant/Café, ob ich gegen einen Unkostenbeitrag die Toilette benutzen könnte. Als ich ins Restaurant lief, wurde ich von Frau Lang direkt angeschrien: "Raus!!!" Ich erschrak mich richtig und sagte, ich wollte aber fragen, ob ich die Toilette benutzen dürfte. Sie verneinte und schickte mich raus. Mir ist klar, dass an diesem Tag wahrscheinlich einige Festbesucher ins Restaurant liefen. Trozdem sollte man so andere Menschen nicht behandeln. Ich fühlte mich wie die grösste Idiotin und hatte das Gefühl, wäre ich 15 Jahre älter gewesen, wäre ich bestimmt höflicher behandelt worden.

Für mich war ab da an klar, dass ich dieses Café/Restaurant meiden werde. Jedes Mal wenn ich heute daran vorbei fahre, kommt diese schlechte Erinnerung hoch. Diese Erfahrung wünsche...
