La Piazza — Restaurant in Opfikon

There seems to be only one server here, so he gets overwhelmed. I get it. He was pretty nice to us and I appreciate that. Really. But the food I ordered was HORRENDOUS! Sick! I thought that by the price of my dish I would get a freshly cooked salmon in top of fettuccine with onion sauce, something like that. Nope, you can tell the salmon is canned. Soooooo gross, immediately got a stomach ache after I ate most of it. I’ll post a pic. Couldn’t finish it. My husband got the lasagna and it was ok. We had better in a restaurant at the border of France, if you want to check it out I’ll leave a review on the restaurant as well. We where in Ibis hotel for one night only the pizza is 1 minute walk from hotel , we had some food already on the way down from Grindelwald but kids saw the pizza so they asked to go we walked into the pizzeria there was only four people there we want to seat on the corner sofa but the waitress said no you can't seat there just in case more people come in we seat on other table we ordered 2 pizzas and 3 drinks but the staff said oh no you need to order at least 4 pizzas to stay in she asked us to take away the pizzas instead, we left the place straight away ...group of 2 adults and 3 children horrible service forgot to mention the pizza cost 20 euro...

There is a guy (I think the owner) that serves, cleans tables, works the register and who knows what else... When we asked him when the food is coming after waiting for 55 minutes, He replied in a very loud and nasty way that was aimed at Americans and American food, "this is not chicken McDonald's it takes time"....Finally the food made it to out table. The pizza was burned and very dry and the "lasagna" was the most disgusting lasagna I ever tasted in my life...There was some kind of a runny substance in liew of riccota that was making it swim in a watery, tasteless disgusting sauce that made me sick. Bad food and overpriced. The only reason He is in business is because there are no many restaurant choices around... Don't...
