Pizzeria Alpin — Restaurant in Pontresina

Earlier this week, I went to Ristorante Nostra Pizzeria with 9 family and friends. We were seated in an quiet alcove near the kitchen, which made our dinner seem like a private affair. The menu offered a wonderful variety of food and deserts and we ordered 9 different dinners and 8 different deserts. Everything on the menu can be ordered in small portions to accomodate big eaters and small eaters (except for the lasagna, which I’m told was the best dinner on our table). Still currently sitting in the restaurant, emailed 2hrs ago as read a review on trip advisor suggesting that it was the best in Pontresina. Prompt email response confirming table for one. Welcomed at the door with a greeting by name. Attentive service and most importantly brilliant pizza. Good food. Uninspired non-alcoholic drinks menu. Long-term guests seem to be treated very friendly. We as one-time visitors felt rather "handled": We were not welcomed, but told to disinfect our hands. There were no smiles from staff, even though we tried to extend friendliness. Overall atmosphere was stressed. Thus, the dining experience was as personal as a McDonald's visit. It didn't hurt to go there once. No need to go there again....
