We recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful hotel Ultima that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway in Gstaad. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the great property and its beautiful surroundings. The hotel's modern and wooden layout was the perfect combination of style and comfort, and luxury the property has limited suites so gets booked up really quickly.
What really set this hotel apart, however, was the personalized service we received. From the moment we checked in, the staff made sure that all of my needs were met and that we had the most enjoyable stay possible. They were always willing to go above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had everything we needed. The room was absolutely amazing, spacious with a modern and cozy touch. It definitely felt pure luxury with the high end designer books as décor and Swiss products in the lavatory. The wooden layout added a nice warm feeling, which made me feel like I was in a log cabin somewhere in the mountains, with spectacular views. The amenities were top-notch and the bed was extremely comfortable. They also provided anytime turn down service so the room was all cleaned every time we came back. One of the surprising element was the Hookah/Sheesha Bar they had at the property which I did not expect but was great addition to our trip and I was told it was the only Hookah Lounge in Gstaad.
One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's spa. It was an amazing experience with high-end Swiss products that left my skin feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. The Spa manager had magical hands made me felt so refreshed after my facial.
The staff members, like Valeria and Charles, were so kind and attentive, making sure that my experience was one to remember. The hotel's restaurant was another hidden gem. The food was truly amazing, and every dish was prepared to perfection, as I am a vegetarian they were even able customize/ add dishes to their menu to cater to our needs. It felt like we were dining at a Michelin star restaurant. The staff members were friendly, and they went out of their way to make sure that I was satisfied with my meal. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this hotel, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway. The personalized service, amazing rooms, spa, and restaurant all made my stay unforgettable, and I can't...
Read moreThis hotel is a truly wonderful experience. I highly recommend it in the winter. From my arrival at the hotel the reception was great and check-in smooth. The suite is very wonderful, I liked the very comfortable furniture and the bed, which faces a mobile TV that can be hidden, and I also liked the fireplace, which gives the impression of the beautiful Swiss winter. The bathroom is also wonderful and no less beautiful than the room. The views of the Alps are indescribable from the balcony, which has a comfortable chair. The service is very professional and takes care of everything the guest wants. Hotel services, including delivery to the village center in a luxury car, BMW X7 or Mercedes Viano. Indoor cinema in the hotel. Hall games. Smooth entry and exit from the parking garage where the ski lockers are located all it’s free for the guests. The concierge is amazing and has all the information you need and provides you with all the services and events that suit your needs. I will never forget the Baccarat crystal chandelier and accessories, which add a sense of luxury combined with the character of a wooden Swiss cottage. It's really a great combination. The price is very reasonable and fair due to the level of services, comfortable accommodation, and the hotel’s very distinguished location. I can say that the downside of this stay is...
Read moreNice hotel, but avoid going there outside of the season, as they have minimum service. That means, nobody to help carrying your luggage, no restaurant, no room service, and you can park yourself in the parking of the hotel. A bit curious for a 5-star hotel, particularly when they only tell it to you after you have booked a non-refundable room. A good illustration: the temperature was far too high in the rooms and all temperature control units were without batteries, we were told to just open the windows. Why not! ||||On the positive side, rooms are nice and well decorated, the spa staff and treatments are great, and the breakfast is nice. ||||So I would certainly come back, but just know what you should...
