Out of our 2 week vacation, this was by far our favorite restaurant last summer! The entire staff was so welcoming and the owner was so friendly and helpful, suggesting meals that were different but delicious for both my daughters. He also brought us some appetizers to try. Even with the virus causing problems for all the restaurants in Schaffhausen. There is one shining star that has been open for about a year now. The Alter Emmersberg is it! My wife and I give the Emmersberg an overall rating of 5. The food as well as the service is just outstanding, and the terrace in the summer time makes for an enjoyable dinning experience....
