The food was always excellent. Unfortunately, the service stuff is disappointing. I was having dinner there with my husband, the waitress touched my husband on his shoulders every single time when she came to our table or just came around. On next day I talked to the manager about the situation and I was told that it is absolutely okay for them that the waitress touches privately guests because it is „familiar atmosphere“ in this restaurant.

Die Sitution hat als Folgendes stattgefunden: am 13.08.25 haben mein Mann, unsere 2 Freunden und ich das Abendessen im Restaurant gehabt. Wir alle haben das fünfgängige Abendmenü bestellt. Jedes mal, als die Kellnerin zu unserem Tisch kamm, hat sie ihre Hand über den Hals und Schulter meines Mannes gleiten lassen . Im Laufe der nächsten Zeit hat sie immer wieder diese Annäherung wiederholt, ich empfand das sehr störend und respektlos, ich habe der Kellnerin meine Empörung geäusert. Als weiterhin habe ich die Situation mit meinem Mann und den Freunden besprochen - alle haben es gesehen.

Da ich das Anfassen als moralische Erniedrigung seitens der Kellnerin angenommen habe, wollte ich im Restaurant nicht mehr länger bleiben und bin gegangen. Am nächsten Tag bin ich ins Restarant gekommen, um mit dem Manager darüber zu sprechen.

Herr Strub, wenn ich nicht falsch liege, habe ich mit Ihnen über die Situation gesprochen, oder? Sie haben zu mir gesagt, dass mein Mann öfter im Restsurant ist, dass die Kellnerin ihn kennt und dass es normal ist da es eine familiär atmosphäre im Restaurant gibt. Und dass ich die Situation mit meinem Mann abklären sollte und nicht hier.

Die Situation habe ich mit meinem Mann abgeklärt - alles was er über die Kelnerrin kennt ist Ihr Name, nicht mehr und nicht weniger.

Es ist von Bedeutung zu betonen: mein Mann hat max. fünf Mal für das letze Jahr im Restaursnt gegesen. Es war mein dritter Besuch bei Ihnen.

Wenn meine Wörte nicht der Wahrheit entsprechen , können Sie gerne eine Anzeige gegen mich einreichen . Dazu erwarte ich das Video des Abendessens, in dem deutlich zu sehen sein sollte, wie und wie oft die Kellnerin die persönliche körperliche Grenze überschnitten hat.

The best tasting menu we’ve ever had, and the sliced veal — layered with bacon fat and smoked, then skewered and grilled, and topped with mustard cream sauce and red currant berries — was in the top 5 of meat dishes in my life. Lovely 16th century house with wood paneling and white table cloths and an excellent owner/chef in Tom. The fresh-baked bread with airy filling and crispy crust and paprika butter to start lets you know you’re in for an amazing meal. We loved the pineapple and pea salad, the knudle with milk fondu foam, and the eggplant with spicy foam (these were the first foams we really loved) and a risotto-like side of black rice with pesto — all paired with local and German wines, especially the sparkling pinot noir and pinot noir dessert wine from Schaffhausen. As soon as we walked in at 1:25pm (1300) they said they were no longer serving. We had been up the street at a local wine shop (Konstantin) who had highly suggested the location. I let the lady know we were referred and had come right away knowing they closed in 30mins and she said “sorry he knows”. He didn’t know and found it unreasonable that they would not accommodate us and sent us away. I have never came to a restaurant that turns away guest earlier than 30 mins...
