Last Wednesday, my man and I enjoyed dining at Restaurant 45, an experience we fondly remember as the epitome of culinary excellence. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were enveloped in an atmosphere that seamlessly combined elegance with comfort, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening.

Our culinary journey began with a starter that, despite its simplicity, was a delightful surprise. The small salad, adorned with a house sauce, was not only beautifully plated, a work of art, but also tantalizingly good. The main course elevated the dining experience to new heights. Both of us opted for the bison tenderloin fillet, The meat was tender beyond compare, melting in our mouths with each forkful. Ich muss leider von einer tief enttäuschenden Erfahrung in diesem Restaurant berichten, die mich dazu veranlasst, diese kritische Bewertung zu verfassen. Der gravierendste Punkt, der nicht nur unseren Abend verdorben, sondern auch tiefe Besorgnis ausgelöst hat, war die Erfahrung des sexistischen Verhaltens, dem wir ausgesetzt waren. In einer Zeit, in der Gleichberechtigung und Respekt gegenüber allen Geschlechtern als Grundwerte unserer Gesellschaft angesehen werden, ist solch ein Verhalten absolut inakzeptabel und zutiefst beunruhigend. Dies allein würde schon ausreichen, um mir von einem erneuten Besuch abzuraten.

Zusätzlich zu diesem schwerwiegenden Problem mussten wir auch unangemessen lange, nämlich 2 Stunden, auf unsere Pasta warten. Eine so lange Wartezeit ist unverhältnismässig und mindert die Freude an einem Restaurantbesuch erheblich. Zudem wurde unser Wein vergessen, was den Eindruck schlechter Organisation und mangelnder Aufmerksamkeit seitens des Personals verstärkte.

Der Umgang mit uns durch den Kellner war ausserdem frech und aggressiv, was in keiner Situation zu rechtfertigen ist. Ein freundlicher und respektvoller Service ist die Basis für ein positives Restaurant-Erlebnis, doch leider war dies hier nicht der Fall.

Obwohl das Essen in Ordnung war, können die negativen Aspekte dieser Erfahrung nicht ignoriert werden. Die Kombination aus schlechtem Service, langen Wartezeiten und insbesondere dem erlebten Sexismus führt dazu, dass ich dieses Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen kann. Ich hoffe, dass das Management dieses Feedback ernst nimmt und notwendige Massnahmen ergreift, um sicherzustellen, dass zukünftige Gäste eine respektvolle und angenehme Erfahrung...

I went the to this restaurant for a dinner with my wife looking for something special and refined. The restaurant lived up to the high expectations I had had from reading the comments. The welcome and service were excellent. We ordered ravioli with shrimp and white butter somehow managed to serve a mix of traditional Italian cuisine and the innovation one would expect from high quality restaurants.
