The welcoming and general service was good which is quite typical in most places is Switzerland . I guess high wages has something to do with that. With that said high wages means high prices which is always a little bit depressing for foreigners visiting the country. We only had a simple lunch, my kids food couldn't really be messed up too much , it was what it was . My lasagna seemed like it had been left under lights a bit too long . It was very dry and a bit tasteless for that measure. I did find the service quite rushed as one negative in that area . It seemed like the servers have been instructed to turn the tables quick. I wouldn't object to try this place again and maybe order a more complex meal . I'm sure the place has much more to offer and I'm sure on another day I would have given a 4 star rating . Time...

Unfortunately, the mushroom sauce seemed to have a grainy/gritty texture however (really hoping the mushrooms were properly scrubbed). The gratin lacked serious flavour and the vegetables were unseasoned/in desperate need of butter. Honestly, the fries were my favourite part. If we time it right, whoever aong our group arrives first can be spotted sitting outside from the incoming gondola/telecabine and put a quick order in with the friendly staff.
