La Patata is a hidden gem that immediately makes you feel like a regular, thanks to its exceptionally warm and welcoming staff. The setting resembles a hotel restaurant—simple and unassuming—but the atmosphere is comfortable. We were a group of four and shared a long table with another couple, with empty chairs providing a bit of space between us. Service is, as mentioned, fantastic—friendly, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. The food follows the same philosophy: simple, yet executed flawlessly with high-quality ingredients. We started with a rich tomato soup and flavorful garlic prawns, followed by perfectly cooked filet mignon and ribeye. One of the highlights is the wine list. While not extensive, it features an outstanding selection, particularly of Bordeaux, at very reasonable prices. We had an absolutely beautiful evening at La Patata. The staff was top notch - everyone we interacted with was friendly and attentive, and overall made the evening so lovely.

Every bite of food we had was excellent - one of the better Nüsslisalat I have had, and the 2 gnocchi dishes (one morel mushroom, one spicy piri piri) were flavorful and perfectly pillowy. The venison fillet special was incredible as well. Wonderfully prepared.

Love this place! Atmosphere, service, food and wine were all exceptional! We had a big family dinner there tonight. Everybody was super happy. My wife and I had the filet steak gentleman's cut together - 300g of Irish water grass fed beef - super nice quality meat made perfect to our taste. Starters, sides and local wine were all great, but make sure to leave some room for a lovely arranged desert and a great coffee.
