View was amazing but other than that no reason to go to this restaurant. I had reserved for 3 people for a brunch they had promoted on their website and I added a comment that one of us is vegetarien. We arrived and the waiter just noted without any explanation that they did not do brunch anymore and they did not have vegetarian options for that week. I was really confused as to why they had not notified me before. Additionally, we then tried to get one of the only doable options which was mentioned as a "kids dish" for an adult but they were so tough on this, even tough we were just saying that we would like to get the dish and willing to pay an adult price for it. In the end they reluctantly served it to us, clearly mentioning that "it would be the last time". This showed how the service was not customer centered at all. Read moreBeautiful views, terrible food! We came to Pavillon Versoix as it seemed to be a great spot by the lake. Indeed the spot has an amazing location and view, but it has the worst food I’ve had so far in two years since we moved to Switzerland. It is expensive, food is bland and tasteless, even the kids food which is usually an easy choice was bad. None of my kids eat anything and they normally eat anything they have on their way.
I strongly recommend the owners to evaluate the quality of their food, it is a shame we are no longer willing to come back because it could be the best spot in Versoix.
And we know this is not a one time thing, my wife has been here before and had the same bad food experience. I had to insist to convince her to come and I regret it.

So their strategy was for all the waiters to hide behind the bar and hope for the best, which led to 70% of the customers to leave the place with no explanation whatsoever. But we are hungry… so we pick up one waitress behind the bar and we explained to her there is still cold food on the menu that can be served. Wow, a great idea she says! Wow, don’t you have a manager to take some decisions? We say. Yes we have 2, but they are useless, she says… so we finished our overpriced Spritz and warm beer and ask for the bill. Full price.
