Hands down the best sushi place in Geneva. In the spirit of excellence the establishment provides fresh made to order cuisine with professional and old world courtesy. As can be expected from a place of this level, space is at a premium and its strongly recommended too book or call for takeaways well in advance. In addition to the standard menu the highly competent and innovative staff does accommodate special requests. A very polite and courteous owner and support personnel have managed to intertwine modern and fast service delivery without compromising the exceptional quality of the produce. Every customer receives personalised service, even at peak times with no lapse in quality or service. As a place of high standing it is priced fairly and cannot be compared with the run of the mill and industrial frozen sushi places in Geneva.All the ingredients are sourced from sustainable and prestigious providers.Quality and service has its price. The place has managed to achieve the insurmountable feat of providing genuine 5 star service much higher than any place in Geneva with a relatively informal setting. Susho won me over from the very first bite: incredibly fresh and unique ingredients, selected with extraordinary care. Mediterranean tuna, Japanese amberjack, Scottish salmon… you can ask the friendly and knowledgeable staff about the story behind each piece. This alone sets Susho apart.

Beyond the quality of the ingredients, there’s a creative approach in the kitchen that combines tradition and innovation. The ratio between fish and rice in the nigiri and maki is spot on, so that every flavor is balanced and the bite size is perfect. Passion and attention to detail is clearly visible in every dish.

The cozy, Japanese-style spaces create an intimate atmosphere. The staff is courteous, always smiling and attentive, and the service is quick and meticulous.

My personal choice of favorites were: Nigiri unagi foie gras, Crispy rice and Spicy Tuna 🍣🔥

Expect nothing but EXCELLENT sushi here! The sashimi is exceptionally fresh (sourced directly from Scotland, Spain, Japan) and beautifully presented, you can sit right in front of the bar and watch the chef prepare them in front of you.

The nigiris are exceptional, and the modern fusion ones like the Dragon ball and the mission Alaska are very popular too. You can always ask for help with choosing sakes and wines for paring with your sushi. They also have ramen, I had the shoyu ramen and the standard is comparable, if not better than other ramen restaurants in Geneva.

The indoor space is a little small but cosy, but there is a nice terrace outside to enjoy when the weather is warm.

Don't expect prices to be low here but I would say it's supremely worth it for...
