Foods and quality of foods are always delicious, typically italian dishes 🇮🇹. Normally we don't have to wait too long. the only one bad point is the service. I'd noticed that it's often or even always crowded. They've so many clients, perhaps that's why some waiters, waitress are sometimes too direct or even a bit rude. I've personally encountered this situation: one waitress took our orders, and she totally forgot to ask the order of my friend. Before that she almost ignores him. We all have felt that she was distant and cold with us. Despite that, I'm sure it's not always like that cause when I came back the service was pretty normal. The last time, I was with my friends and their kid. The waitress brought knives, forks,etc... and my friend wanted just help a bit the waitress then the waitress said "Madame, just let me do my job, I know what I've to do blah-blah" Hooo men! We were all surprised the way she spoke. At the end of our meal, she came back for take our plates. I hardly dared to give my dish. I thought she gonna tell me "Sir put down this dish, don't move, hands on your...
Read moreOur visit to Molino Vevey was nothing short of extraordinary—easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. The highlight was undoubtedly the waiter, whose warmth, genuine smile, and exceptional service created a truly memorable experience. It’s rare to meet someone with such a great spirit, and this encounter was one of those rare and special moments.
The food was equally outstanding. We enjoyed the Veal Lemon Sauce, Margherita pizza, Minestrone Soup, and Penne al Ragu Bolognese. Every dish was impeccably prepared, flavorful, and absolutely delicious.
The atmosphere added to the charm—inviting, comfortable, and perfect for a wonderful meal. Everything came together beautifully, leaving us eager to return.
Thank you, Molino Vevey! You’re doing something truly special. Keep up the fantastic work—we’ll...
Read moreI really enjoy Molino. BUT I am editing my previous review. I am afraid they have fallen into the realm on TOURIST TRAP. The staff did not realize that I enjoy eating out locally at MANY of the restaurants in the region. I asked for normal “tap” water and the waiter aggressively explained that they do not have that at Molino. Interesting…how do you wash the dishes, clean the restaurant, wash the windows? Perhaps he is lying? I asked both both in French and English. I still enjoyed the food and it seems like Molino got their happiness by charging me 3.5 franks for the tap water they ultimately served. We have eaten here a lot and the food is generally good. It is a chain with many...
