A wonderful surprise to come across this place while my wife and I were staying in Montreux. We were searching for interesting restaurants and were elated to find a burrito place just one stop over on the train, especially one that was rated so well. We jumped at chance to try it out for ourselves and we were not disappointed. I write this review as a vegetarian, a native of the American southwest, and a person that lives to eat.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming even though we came within an hour of closing time. The ingredients appeared fresh. We ordered a burrito on wheat tortilla with rice, beans, seasoned tofu, sautéed peppers/onions, cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo, jalapeños, corn, sour cream, a creamy chili sauce, sour cream, salsa rojo, guacamole, and their featured hot sauce. IT WAS DELICIOUS.. My wife and I promptly ordered another after splitting the first. They have an assortment of hot sauces to choose from including Valentina's! It's clear the restaurant has put a lot of thought in in ingredients and flavor....
Read moreThis restaurant/take out place has the best burritos that I have had in Switzerland. The menu had lots of options for ingredients to go inside the burrito, the meat was delicious, and there are vegetarian options. The guacamole was really good and tasted so fresh. The homemade lemonade was not too sweet. The staff at the restaurant were so efficient and friendly. The price was very reasonable given the size of the burrito. The restroom was clean, but there was no changing table. There are long tables and stools to sit on in the restaurant, so this place is suitable for small or large groups of people. There was some outside seating, but not a lot. On a hot day, it better to sit outside as the restaurant can get a bit warm. The restaurant has fans on the walls and that helped a bit. Overall, a great place to eat, with good food, at a very...
Read moreObviously, if you’re from here, or just traveling and possibly starved for something “ethnic”, then this is right up your alley, but don’t expect authenticity or greatness. Chipotle should look into expanding here because they’d clean up!! This place is #1 on trip advisor😬. What does that say about Swiss food? And the price IS right, sadly, because a burrito here is around $13 and this afternoon I payed about $20 for a mediocre egg on bread with ham, cheese, and tomato. It’s...
