The food and view were great, however the day we went there was live music which they charged 15 chf per person. No one told us, and so we were ambushed with a 45 chf charge for three people in addition to our ice cream. When we talked to the people inside they said the waiter should have told us. When we asked the waiter why he didn’t tell us about the music charge before we sat down, he said „That’s not my problem… you’re supposed to know“. It’s not about the money, but about how unprofessional and rude he was. Handled with no class or fairness. We payed the bill and left with a sour taste in our mouths. Very disappointed. You can get there by following the street along the lake, taking in the amazing view. The cafe itself does not have an extensive lunch menu, and there are only three main course-type meat dishes to choose from. All are excellent, though, with the homemade puff pastry pasties being a personal favourite. The veiw and the people have been wonderful, except here. The young lady wasn't overly friendly, but she wasn't rude and nasty.
