Aubrey — Restaurant in Zurich

We popped in to just look at the menu having arrived late in Zurich. We were welcomed with warmth and charm by Robert, a Hungarian bar man who was really helpful. He immediately brought us iced water and discussed the menu as I needed gluten free food. We stayed for food and I had a delicious lentil and sweet potato salad and my partner had a beef burger, done beautifully. Robert and the waiter were friendly and kind, so I highly recommend. Meanwhile I was about 20 times at Aubrey for lunch with guests (up to 6 guests). Every single time the service was perfect for a business lunch - fast, discreet, polite - as it should be. as well the atmosphere is good for a conversation - no TV screens, no loud music in the background. The dishes are served in good quality. The highlight is the Expresso. One of the best Expresso in Zürich (beside the Bar Nocciolina). We went there for the 10th anniversary and apparently they were not able to deal with the amount of people. We waited for 30min on a table full of empty glasses from the guys before us, without getting a menu. Finally the waiter arrived and we wanted to ask for the menu.
