Restaurant Gerold Chuchi — Restaurant in Zurich

Location is great and atmosphere also very good. Decoration is also great. However the quality of the food could be better. I tried the burgers and there is nothing special on them. The bread of burgers is an ordinary bread, meat, french fries...nothing special. Waiters try to be friendly. This is very nice. However it looks like a very unnatural friendliness. There is a very nice waitress with a bit of a hippie style with a very natural friendliness. She is very nice. They dedicate time to explain the menu which is very nice too. They sell it pretty well. This is great but it raises the expectations and then I felt a bit dissapointed with the burger. Overall it is ok...the waiting time is horrible and my expectations were much higher. Fantastic. I don't usually write reviews but this place deserves one. Super friendly personnel. They love their job and that's noticeable (or they're faking it and in that case, they're faking it good). Their English is great so it's tourist friendly. I ordered the beef burger with fries and the fries alone were delicious. The burger nothing less. Odd location and not much to look at but they make the best of it. The price was okay as well. 26 francs for the burger with fries and a beer....

One of my favorite dining experiences. The umbrellas are cute, the food is good, but most of all the service is excellent. There is no menu, just a list of specials written on a menu and a server who has memorized all that they offer. I enjoyed my feta cheese wrapped in prosciutto, my burger with bacon and egg, and above all my perfectly crispy fries. This is a great spot to visit if you're in Zurich, especially since the prices here are more reasonable than elsewhere...
