Amalfi is an absolute gem nestled in the heart of Seefeld a qucik walk behind the Opera. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the entire evening.

My wife and I embarked on a culinary journey that surpassed all expectations. She indulged in the parmigiana, a dish that not only looked breathtaking but also tantalized her taste buds with every bite. Her main course, the homemade black pasta with seafood, was simply divine, a symphony of flavors that left her speechless.

As for me, the cold seafood salad was a refreshing start, perfectly balanced and expertly prepared. However, the highlight of the evening was undeniably the scaloppine Al limone paired with butter-drenched spaghetti. We really wanted to love this place as the terrace looks so inviting and the white tablecloths and nice setting were promising. But the food was a letdown and the price/value is just not there. The octopus salad with potatoes needed seasoning – bland and boring. The bread (brötli) served as a side (something every restaurant in Switzerland provides for free) was dry, hard, and tasteless. Such an easy thing to get right in this country! Every Coop & Migros around the corner has better bread.

The raviolone with truffle didn’t have any interesting flavor and too much sauce, and the seabass seemed overcooked and under-seasoned. We honestly can’t remember anything else about the dinner, it was all pretty mediocre at best.

1)The restaurant is too loud (inclusive waiters), service rather lousy and slow. We waited for 20 minutes for an invoice, although a waiter was virtually standing at the bar.

2. thanks for your answer. There is a difference between "lively" and "loud". We were at your restaurant last Thursday, and it was definitely too loud. You could not understand the words of your partner at the table. The tables are too near to each other. You'd need to have more space between guests, even if it will diminish your income at the beginning.
