Thai Bogie — Restaurant in Zurich

Food: 5* - We had two starters, chicken satay and battered deep fried shrimp. Both came steaming hot from the kitchen and both were top. The satay sauce was rich and with chunks of peanuts and the shrimps were accompanied with sticky sweet sauce which nicely complimented the natural sweetness of shrimps. For the main we went for two different curries, massaman and yellow. Massaman curry was very rich and deep in flavors with sweet undertones, yellow curry was lighter in taste with a nice hint of acidity. Both were amazing, we couldn't pick our favorite.

Place: 5* - we didn't check the photos before coming so we were quite surprised that the restaurant is actually situated in the train carriage. The decor inside is tastefully done, thanks to the wooden ceiling and the warm light from the lamps we felt cozy, especially considering the place is located in typical sterile new Zurich development.

Service: 5* - very kind and attentive service, always smiling. We felt welcomed as guests.

What an incredible Thai dining experience! From start to finish, everything was just right. The service was warm and attentive—friendly without being overbearing—and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome.

We started with crispy spring rolls that were perfectly golden and full of flavor. For mains, we had the Pad Thai, Green Curry and Pad Krapao. Each dish was outstanding. The Pad Thai had the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and savory. The green curry was rich and aromatic, with just the right level of spice. And the Pad Krapao—wow! It was full of bold, punchy flavors and a great chili kick that stayed with you in the best way.

This was an absolute surprise. I would have never imagined such a romantic and cozy place here. How could I missed it all the times that I passed through this area. I had an amazing experience. The food is amazing, really tasty, with very decent portions. The staff is really friendly, the smile never leaves their faces. And the price is really good.
