We ordered from eat.ch, we spent more than 200 CHF for receiving sashimi not fresh..it was grey And it was leaking water, and it was tasteless. We tried yaki udon, but there was more veg than pasta. We choose just one futomaki and I absolutely recommend it: the hot cheese roll. We chose 4 other types of uramaki, recommended the one with pesto, instead the spicy one and the one with tasteless fresh cheese, and the spider roll was also tasteless.... Instead the others fell apart, shattered as soon as you took them with your chopsticks because they were practically open. They weren't closed. Like hosomaki shitake. And pay attention to this one, don't eat it with soja, it tastes bitter...
We also ordered the chicken skewers, but they weren't seasoned, they tasted weird. The tataki was also tasteless.......
The nigiri was fine, but I would recommend to do it naturally, without any extra sauce like wasaki or yuzu. In my opinion sushi should be eaten natural, and especially if those who don't like spicy, what should they do? The worst thing of all though is that the rice is not marinated, it is plain white rice, what a pity! The presentation is beautiful, the colors are vibrant but the food you offer is not worth the price you pay.
And we threw it all away and bought some...
Read moreThe food was very good, and the wait staff were professional and attentive. I had the Chef's Choice for 1 person, which included tuna tartare (diced raw tuna served on caramelized nori), maguro no tataki (raw tuna sashimi served on a cucumber salad), and cauliflower popcorn (tempura-battered fried cauliflower). The Chef's choice was an easy way to try recommended dishes, but the price is the same as ordering those dishes separately. For dessert I had the chocolate cake (soft chocolate with a pudding-like texture, served with pistachio macha ice cream and a salty-sweet miso caramel sauce). I also ordered green tea to drink with my meal, which cost extra. The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is the price. Clearly, high-quality sushi should come with a high price tag, but 79 CHF is expensive,...
Read moreIf I had to describe this establishment using one item from the menu, it'll have to be the miso soup. Because miso upset I came in and sat down to waste money (great majority of items overpriced) and more importantly my time. I had the beef skewer with udon noodles which has way more veggies in the bowl then noodles. The beef skewer was cooked pretty well but not so flavorful. The only provable saving grace for the establishment is the small plates of sushi which were good and decently priced. Emphasis on decently priced. There is a revolving sushi rail which seems to require a reservation because my party and I weren't allowed to sit on the rail. All and all...not returning of this establishment unless I'm dragged in kicking...
