山上聊 Whisper Hill Café — Restaurant in Beitou

The outdoor view on 2F is nice. Food and drinks are okay (not wow) but acceptable. Giving 2 stars because of owner’s rude attitude. We are a group of 9 people. One of us couldnt drink coffee/tea/dairy milk-infused stuff and to compensate for their min order of 1 drink(which is gonna cost around 200), our friend offered to order 2 cakes(which the total cost gonna be around $300ish, more than the minimum order of one drink which gonna cost around 200ish).

The owner’s attitude is rude, she doesnt even try to understand or offer possible recommendations or solutions that will meet her diet restrictions.

She went on and on to force her to order a drink or pay 200 for her seat without getting any drink.

Considering the rest of us is adhering to their cafe policy which to order a drink per person. On top of that we ordered 3 portion of waffles to share. So the total money we spent is actually already more than 200 per person if divided by 9. Her behaviour is just super rude and not...

This is quite a nice café in the mountains that faces Shilin and Sanchong. We got a Apple Osmanthus Cold Brew (a seasonal blend) and Caramel Caffè Latte, they are both well-made. The Caramel Caffè Latte is not as sweet as Starbucks and the likes, but it's comfortable to drink. We sat by the window and the view is calming, while the background music matched well with the scenery and is soothing. The decor is also fitting with the natural environment and there's a friendly cat (presumably which belongs to the owner). We came in winter, and the rooftop wasn't opened (it's not open for sitting when it's cold), but we could take a walk above and the view is very pretty and expansive. There are photos in the café showing what the cafe looks like when there's snow. I'm not sure how likely that is now, but the staff said that when it's cold enough and there's enough moisture, it's possible to snow...

Mountain view etc, very relax from the view. Drinks are great, tea coffee etc. but it just took pretty long time. (For 3 drinks, 2 sandwich and 1 waffle took approx 1 hour and 20mins to send everything over) It will be great if can put a sign mention about bugs due to natural environment as you will constantly getting ants around by sitting at window seats. On the menu does mention keep noise down but we got some groups yelling at back table basically over 10mins and no one try to do something with. Payment options also...
