饗泰多泰式風格餐廳 嘉義耐斯店 — Restaurant in Chiayi

I've been anticipating timing at this restaurant for quite a while. The name of itself is very interesting and attractive. 想太多， 哈哈！ Based on other reviews on Google maps, I had intended to visit this restaurant with a friend for the past couple of months. In order to celebrate a birthday, I planned to visit today (8/24). There is an app available which is very easy to use, and very intuitive, which I found to be very helpful and easy to book a reservation for a time that was suitable for me and my friend. For those who don't read Chinese, I would recommend that you use Google translate which will help you to understand the steps of booking a table very easily.

Food: all of the dishes were very delicious. I'm not a big lover of spice, but I also don't like food that is under spiced. The balance of spice in this restaurant is perfect. I left extremely satisfied. My friend, who is vegetarian, also was able to find many dishes that met his dietary requirements. Personally, I had the chicken skewers (串烤沙嗲雞) and stir-fried chicken (泰甜辣炸雞). My friend ordered a baked rice dish (厚煎海鮮烘蛋) and a crab soup (蟹肉玉米湯). We shared a moon cake (冠軍月亮蝦餅). Overall, the food was extremely delicious.

Note: One point of caution for vegetarians would be that the crab soup does include bacon (to be fair, the restaurant clearly states this on the menu, but we were in a bit of a hurry to order and did not notice that). While we can both read Chinese, we did not spend enough time looking at the ingredients.

Service: the staff was extremely friendly, accommodating, and even humorous. I believe that they would be able to speak English if necessary, and were very hospitable and attentive. The staff and the service speed were very efficient. At the same time we never felt rushed. We spent about 2 hours in total there, including eating and chatting. And no point if you feel that we were being forced to finish our meal and leave. It's a very relaxed environment.

Atmosphere: I have noted, this is a place that I wanted to visit for a very long time. In this case, two birthdays happened to be the reason for us to splurge on this fancier type of restaurant. There were also a lot of people that were taking pictures of their food or taking pictures of their groups eating together. As such, it's clear that this is a place where people look forward to a special occasion.

Value: the menu indicates that each person must spend a minimum of 300 NTD each, with Google Maps indicating that the cost would be more like 600 to 800 NTD per person. This is very much in line with what we spent (we spent a bit more), and my friend is a big eater. We both ate until we were full!

Overall: I would definitely love the chance to come back here. I do recommend this for people who love Thai cuisine, no matter how spicy you like your food. The menu and the staff are very...

泰式涼拌海鮮雖菜單標示三顆辣椒辣度，但實際上只有微微辣，裡面的蛤蜊蝦子透抽等都算新鮮，酸甜辣的口味很適合當開胃菜。

泰式檸檬魚表現非常好，魚沒有任何一點腥味，酸甜辣的調味非常平衡，不會過酸、過甜或過辣，算是很聰明的保守作法，讓每個人都能接受的口味，酸甜的醬汁配上香米真的很涮嘴。

咖哩軟殼蟹，酥香的軟殼蟹裹上濃郁的咖哩醬汁及滑蛋，要單吃或是搭麵包還是是香米都很適合。

瑪莎曼牛肉，一入口是濃郁的香料味，其牛肉肉質軟嫩不柴，微辣的口味緩解了其厚重可能產生的膩感，但缺點是份量也太少，端上來還以為是一人份….

冠軍月亮蝦餅，本以為其厚度吃起來會有加很多澱粉的軟糯感，但意外的還蠻彈牙，而且還吃得到些許的成塊蝦肉，味道也蠻鮮美，搭上甜甜的醬汁，比預期中的好吃。

泰式鹹蛋中卷，本保持著跟台式金沙中卷差不多的預期，但實際上還是有做出區別，除了鹹蛋黃的鹹香味，還多了泰式辣椒膏的鹹香辣味，整道菜偏重口，適合搭飯。

冬蔭功海鮮湯，整個就是酸辣鮮香，湯頭的酸辣味突出，但依舊喝得到海鮮的鮮甜味，整體品質中上。

服務及環境：服務上維持集團該有的水準，環境亦屬乾淨整潔。
