ChocoChez Bakery — Restaurant in Da'an District

Overhyped and Overpriced, if your purpose is only to take photos of food, its not even worth it. I really don't get why its crowded other than people just coming here to take photos.

Food:

Price of the food is too high and the quality of the food isn't that good. Honestly you can get better cake from a local cakeshop for a much cheaper price. The cake in person doesn't even look that good and the taste isn't anything special. Only the place looks special and thats pretty much it. The cake is hard and taste weird, texture of the cake is mushy and weird as if they just put it in the fridge and take it out. And the price point is not worth it at all.

Drink:

I only bought one coffee thinking it might be at least good but the coffee is just completely diluted with water which again, not worth the price. Honestly I can get a much better coffee from family mart and get 5 or 6 cans for the price.

TL;DR: Photos? Kind of okay. Food and Drink? Go to Family...

Checked out this bakery and honestly, had some mixed vibes. The cheesecake? Super cute for the ‘gram but kinda disappointing - the center of the cake was frozen and anything but cheese. I could not taste any cheese aroma. The matcha latte? Too watery for my taste with clumps of unmixed matcha. But their sweet potato bread was really good, loved the chewy texture and the perfect balance of flavors. And the tteokbokki was actually pretty tasty too. 타이베이에 있는 한국인 사장님과 대만인 사모님이 여신 카페라고 알고 있습니다. 그래서인지 한국식 카페라고 홍보하시면서 전체적인 분위기 및 음식들이 한국에 있는 카페 같은 느낌이 들었습니다. 그런데 너무 기대를 했나봅니다. 귀엽다는 느낌은 있었지만 맛있다는 느낌은 모르겠습니다. 한국엔 이미 적지 않은 카페에서 고구마빵 판매하고 있는데 (-직접 배우신건지 모방하신건진 모르겠습니다만-) 포장까지 똑같고, 빵이 원래 차가운지 모르겠지만, 갓 구운 빵 치고는 실망을 했고요, 커피도 작은컵에 가격이 너무 비싼 것 같았습니다. 작은 컵 한잔에 $120~130 이던데 이 돈으로 더 맛있는 커피 마실 수 있습니다... 솔직히 다들 사진 찍으러 오시는 것 처럼 돌아다니시고, 조금 어수선한 분위기였습니다. 친구랑 대화하는 모습 마저 어색해지는 느낌이였습니다. 저도 나중엔 돈이 조금 아까워서 사진을 많이 찍었지만요. 그리고 이 시국에 몇몇 직원분이 마스크를 쓰고 있지 않더라구요. (-방문일시 : 11/26) 빵들을 테이블 위에 진열해놓으면서 위생적인 부분도 조금 문제가 있는 것 같아 적어봅니다. 다녀온지 일주일 정도 되었으나 기대했던 만큼 실망도 있어서 후기를 남깁니다.

首先據我所知韓國老闆和臺灣老闆娘在台北開的韓係咖啡廳，也許正因如此宣傳韓國咖啡廳，整體的氛圍和飲食餐點都像是在韓國的咖啡廳一樣，但是可能是我太期待了， 雖然有可愛的感覺，但是不覺得好吃，在韓國有不少咖啡店已賣地瓜麵包（不知道老闆是親自學的還是模仿的）包裝都是一模一樣，而且也不知道麵包本來是冷的還是冷掉的，反正我們吃的時候是冷的麵包，但是等到15:00作爲剛烤好的麵包也買了還是一樣冷的，我感到很失望，還有覺得咖啡價格也太貴了，一杯小杯有$120~130，用這價錢可以喝到更好的咖啡不是嘛⋯ 老實說大家都為了來拍照的樣子，到處走動，氣氛有些混亂，和朋友對話的樣子也讓我覺得很不合群，後來也捨不得花點錢，拍了很多照片。最後，這疫情期間還是有幾位店員沒有戴口罩，因為你們把麵包擺在桌子上，感覺衛生方面也有點問題，所以寫下來了，雖然去訪問已經過了一個禮拜左右，但由於失望程度和期待值一樣，所以留下了後記。
