Writing an honest review…

The place is, as i would describe it as, ‘upsetting’. I went there for dinner and was mildly disappointed with the place. And i don’t say this with any bad intention as i, myself, was really looking forward to going and eating there, from all the good reviews i saw. But it was a sad reality when i got there.

The environment resembles more of a bar than a restaurant, and the staff (which was one guy) was not the most welcoming and nice. He seemed to be more fed up with working there, then to help and interact with the customers to the best of his ability. The place also feels too cramped and not the best place to sit and talk.

The food was, therefore, the only thing i was looking forward to, but i was struck by reality and was taken aback as to how ‘saddening’ it was, especially coming from a place with such good reviews, and such high price.

Everything from the salad to the main dish, the burger (which was praised even on the news!), were all cafeteria level food, and was not pleasing at all. The burger was juicy but flavorless, and not cooked fully. The fried chicken was unseasoned, and the sauce was awfully spicy. The mozzarella sticks were empty, and the salad looked like something i would make at home in 2 minutes.

Worst of all, most of the things on the menu were out, which was weird since the place was empty when we got there.

Maybe it was a bad night for them, but regardless, i wouldn’t rate this place that high, and would recommend people to go find somewhere else with better food. Take it from me, someone who went there with high hopes of having a nice dinner and got disappointed with an awfully expensive, and unpleasing night.

嗨嗨～ From my personal experience this place was quite disappointing, we were the first and only customers by the time we had arrived at 6:30 and right off the bat the man that was serving us (which was the only person working there) was impolite and didn’t bother to quite assist us through the menu. Most of the things on the menu was unavailable and from all the burgers we only had burger 1 and mini burgers 2 as an option. The salad was something like i’d make in 2 seconds and he didn’t even bother cutting the lettuce up. The Tacos were not worth the price. The mini burgers were unseasoned and undercooked (the chips that came with it wasn’t even what we expected) The fried chicken drums were SO bland (the sauce that came with it was bizarre and just tasted like a strong mixture of buffalo sauce and yellow mustard ) I was indeed disappointed and I am not trying to spread hate on the place but I reserved a seat in this place merely because I saw a lot of good reviews on it and it is truly disappointing to get this amount of dissatisfaction from a place with THIS much...

Always a pleasant time when visiting sheep+pony.

The place really brings out that southern Texas u.a flavor out. Super juicy patties that explode right into your month, and w/ great ranch sauce on the side that basically just make you devour those sliders / burgers. What I love the most about the sliders are actually the cheese they choose, right amount w/ right flavor that adds an additional flavor to the juicy meat already :)

A super pleasant surprise is its tacos though, especially the fish taco. Refreshing taco w/ the right flavor, even becoming the dish I like more over its sliders ahha.

One small downside is that some may think the sliders are a bit greasy in the end, I’d say that’s prob correct. Sheep+pony is prob not the place for light taste visitors, but def the right place you should go if your a burger and...
