Sukiya Xinyi Anhe Restaurant — Restaurant in Da'an District

It was our first time ever to try Sukiya, I'm aware that they're a chain known in Asia, but let's just talk about my first time experience. We went in not sure what to do, as there were some people lining up and immediately asked if we're dining in and led to the dining area with tiny table for two, just noting it because we're used to big tables in the USA. I just asked the friendly locals about how to property order and they were more than happy to teach me. Once I figured that out, I studied the broad range of colorful menus, I love those types. It's all in Chinese and thankfully I can read, but it's harder to translate them to English for my family. Anyways, I chose Seafood poke bowl with 2 sides of miso soup and sautéed greens. My kid got wide eyed and forgot she wasn't hungry when she saw the miso soup and said, that's the best miso soup ever! Needless to say, I ordered another cup for her. My seafood poke bowl may not seem much but the flavors are amazing, best Poke bowl ever and I ate all of it! ❤️. Then I proceeded to order (mind you, the guy named Curry had been asked few times to update and add to our dine in order and lastly a to go order for chicken curry for family since I know it would be delicious 😋. Never heard a bad thing from the server, he's just happy to serve everyone! ❤️ Now that's what I'd call excellent service...
