Zhuji Renai Restaurant — Restaurant in Da'an District

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while walking along the street. Yes, there was a line, and the service inside was quite busy and a bit stressful. However, the gentleman who helped us was extremely kind, polite, and helpful. He did his best to assist us throughout the ordering process.

Our orders arrived exactly as we requested. The amount of meat in the soups was generous and very satisfying. The other dishes we ordered were also of high quality and tasted great. Overall, we got everything we would expect from a good restaurant.

The only downside might be that it can be hard to find a seat due to the crowd, but in our opinion, it’s definitely worth the wait. Price-wise, it’s slightly more expensive than a typical Chinese restaurant, but the difference is minor and well worth it for the quality and service...

We were walking on the way going to Daan Park, after strolling round Jianguo weekend market, getting a little hungry.. 450m from there is this tasty yummy Zhuji outlet. We had this at another location with the above average fried rice, becoming our new favourite restaurant, recommended are the fried rice and the 小菜 especially the pork ear. I am quite picky with fried rice and had to say this is among my top list, good separated rice, high frying egg, and great flavour, not too oily.. Can finish one plate just by myself! Other than that they have free tea self service. Price are moderate, environment is ok, not too crowded at 4pm. Toilet moderate clean. Service also moderate. All in all,...

Good- Good food. Speedy service. Clean environment.

Can be improved - They leave menus in the table where u can mark by pen. But then after, they seem to complain why we don’t order the dishes using QR code. I think it would be better if they let customers know when seating them. Or even better, remove the paper menus from table.

My husband filled in the paper format but waitress was slightly rude and said should fill in QR code. Could be handled better.

They give a free side dish if u give them 5-star rating. I think this is unethical practice - would be better to offer free dish if customer left any rating, whether good or bad without pressure (then it’s more fair).
