BT BURGER.1/8因有大型外帶，將於12點開始營業 — Restaurant in Da'an District

I didn’t think I would eat a burger here in Taipei that’s so good it would haunt me in my dreams, but here we are.

I inhaled that cheesy monstrosity inside of five minutes and my only regret was that I didn’t have more room for another after eating the perfectly crispy fries. I’m coming back for sure.

The decor is very pinteresty, which doesn’t bother me—although I did find the soothing classical music pretty odd after a few minutes. Seriously, this isn’t fine dining, play some K-pop.

Burgers are a bit pricey relative to local, but the amount and value still feels competitive to other countries for what you get. I sure hope it stays that way.

Service people were very kind and patient and well mannered. You’d be a monster to be mean to them. Had a great experience...

The place looked nice, but the quality of the food was wanting. Over half of the group of people I was with felt the food they ordered was too oily for comfort.

It was my first to feel that the fries that came with an ordered meal was less oily than the rest of the meal. The fries was the okay part.

20220915 Update to reflect the fact the staff at the food had replied:

The waiter did come and ask if the food was okay before we had eaten much. The overwhelming nausea due to the oily composition came later.

In fact, the waiter had also asked us to consider giving this food place's Google review a 5-star rating in exchange for a small treat. We did not find out what that small treat was because we could not justify a 5-star rating for...

The beef tastes special! You can tell that the chef really cares about his burgers. I was asked how I like my burger cooked. I really appreciate that they ask about it and give you a choice.

The scotch eggs are nice, but the sauce makes it difficult appreciate the meat. I think it would be better on the side.

The meat paradise burger is delicious and comes in a very big portion. I thought it was a little salty, but I still enjoyed it. A crispy bun would be a nice improvement.

I think the main thing is the quality of the beef and the care in cooking it, which easily deserves 5 stars. Other burgers in Taipei do not compete...
