Frankly, I was somewhat disappointed. I ordered an all-tendon beef noodle soup with regular noodle (家常麵）, while the family ordered a brisket beef noodle soup and a no-meat noodle soup both with ramen (拉麵）. The broth was good but not as flavourful as I expected. It was lacking some depth and also lacking a bit of an herbal undertone that I personally like. The noodles themselves have great texture and were cooked perfectly. The pickled sour veggies were kind of bland in my opinion. The chilli oil and some sort of oil (beef tallow I’m guessing?) did add an additional layer of taste to the soup, which made the noodle soup a little more enjoyable. The tendons were super tender and not chewy at all, which I love. The service was good despite the staff being completely overwhelmed with the customers. They also provided kids bowls and utensils. The menu has English descriptions so I would say this is a good place to bring foreign friends. We went on a weekday (Friday) at the end of lunch hour without reservations, and waited about 30 min to get a table. Reservation is strongly recommended if you plan to make a stop here.

Came at 5:30 on a Tuesday as they opened. Didn’t have a reservation but was able to sit immediately with an hour time limit. Great beef noodle soup spot. They offer a standard broth and a variation with tomatoes in the same broth. The standard one is fragrant with spices and tastes clean unlike some spots where it feels like you’re drinking a bowl of oil. Can’t say enough about the meat. It’s so soft and there are options with just meat, tendon, combination of both, short rib, etc and offer 3 types of noodles - standard ramen like noodles, flat and wide, and a 3rd that’s in between the two in thickness and width. There are pickled veggies and spicy oil that you can request as well to add more flavors to your bowl of soup. They also have warm unsweetened wintermelon tea and give diners a shot of plum vinegar to clear your taste buds. Come here for the beef noodles! There’s plenty of other food options but I haven’t ordered anything other than the beef noodle soup.

This is definitely a must go for Taiwanese beef noodles with so authentic beef favour and well made and cooked noodles and beef. The mixed braised beef combo could tell u how well the source was balanced. Nothing is overpowering and the beef and the bean curd and soya sheet were so perfectly cooked with great and right texture. The noodles were in great portion and the beef and the tendons were in such tenderness and again, just so well braised. All the essence of the beef was just there. Everything was served very fresh and hot and price was more than reasonable with this quality. The servers were extremely helpful and the seating was comfy and place is not noisy. Reservation needs to be made and definitely worth it.

Don’t come without a reservation. We arrived at 11am and were first in line for the shop opening at 11:30am, and yet we were pushed to the back of the line. I had actually reserved a table one week in advance for 2 pax, but we had 4 pax, hoping they could squeeze an additional 2 in our party. But they decided to split us up into 2 tables far apart when other guests that had just called in to book half an hour got a table? Their reservation system is nonsense, and i dont think the food is worth the trouble. The beef noodle was alright, but definitely overrated and overhyped. If you’re lucky to secure a table in advance, then go ahead and give it a try, but it’s not anything to shout about.

Never spent so much on a bowl of noodles before but it was definitely worth the try. It's the first time I've had ox tail with skin still on. Quite an interesting combination of textures however out of the 3 bowls we got, 1 didn't have skin on because it was near the base of the tail. Anyway, all in all I'd much rather have this than any of the other top rated beef noodles especially ones you need to line up in the blazing hot sun. It is expensive though. 290 for normal beef noodle, 530 for the one with 4 cuts of beef (tail, tendon, shank, shank core). There was also a pork rib one for 1280.

Popped in while walking in this area. I had to wait 10mins for a table without a reservation during lunch time. The beef shined the most I got there signature beef noodles soup. Medium thick noodles. The beef was the star of this. Beef was super tender and the tenderloin was so soft almost like soft tofu. Adding the chilli oil was a nice touch as it added more depth to the soup Enjoyed very much, I was travelling with my wife and baby 1 years of age and the place was very friendly and provided a high chair and cutlery for my baby. My baby also enjoyed the soup very much;)
