Pastries/desserts in the cafes are usually deeply tied to the trend, at least form wise. But once in a long while you'll get lucky to find something that makes the most sense out of them all. This was one of those moments.

Honeycomb candy was never my thing because they are usually very sticky or rough in my mouth. But here they mixed in the technique of sponge toffee to make it fluffy and delicate that crumbles into every bite. That, was a work of art.

The flavor and texture of the earl grey chiffon were great. Nevertheless, it was sad to realize that the center of the cake was hollow even though doughnut shape is typical for chiffons. The server was super polite, so the long wait (~40 min) for not only the cake but the coffee wasn’t uncomfortable. In addition, credit cards, Apple Pay and e-invoice are all acceptable. Last but not least, it’d be better if the air conditioning on the 2nd floor had...

Go early if you want clean photos because this spot fills up quick! We got there five minutes after opening on a weekday and I was surprised to find 4-5 tables already occupied. The menu isn’t extensive but what they do offer seems to be well made. The chiffon cake and milk tea I ordered were good and my bf also liked his coffee. Wouldn’t be surprised if there are a long wait times for this spot...
