太監雞御膳坊一館 — Restaurant in Hualien City

I joined a tour to Taiwan and one of the place they took me for dinner is this restaurant. I find the food overall is ok and not really that flavourful but I will take it as local taste bud kind of thing. As I am from Malaysia and I am used to curries, sambal and food cooked with spices, the food served here kinda taste bland or maybe more mild flavour and not too strong. From what was served, the steamed chicken is not that soft compared to the ones I have had in Malaysia (say the Ipoh bean sprout chicken) and it could have been better if they add more soy sauce. There is only two dish that I really like which is the steamed fish and the fried fish cake accompanied with fried vege. But like I said, maybe it is the local taste bud so I try to take this into consideration and just try to enjoy what the locals eat here.

Is it worth visiting to try out the food here? My answer is no. For my case, it is already paid for as part of the...

說實在的這是我去第二次的地方吃飯，讓我感到無比失望，雖然是訂包廂式，ㄧ開始是2樓小間包廂式擁擠了點的餐廳吃飯，但裡面沒對流排空氣的地方冷氣又不冷還讓客人繼續坐下去，連家人在密閉式裡都感到流汗，當個服務員應該先知道客人到了帶領上樓應該先開個冷氣是否會不會涼，我受不了還當下開冷氣時就應該知道冷氣夠不夠冷，服務員說了至從地震後冷氣就怪怪了，所以冷氣怪了也不冷 那還敢請客人繼續坐在裡頭悶死人了，那如果不換別間包廂式吃飯不就會熱死了，還有⋯雖然是家聚，但包廂式裡頭吃飯ㄧ定會有談論問題的細節，但每次服務員要進門時需要送餐點都說話非常的大聲比當下在談論事情的聲音都抵過去了，天啊！ 能不能看場合裡頭是安靜式還是歡樂式，服務送餐時能是否小聲點，雖然是好意服務告知說現在送的餐點是什麼食材，ok，我接受～ 但包廂裡需要不就是能安靜的吃飯談論 而被服務大聲說話給打斷，那種感覺⋯像似有人衝進門來幹架的， 還有， 當然我們在談論事情時，服務員突然進門在開始算有幾瓶飲料等等，天啊～我還沒結束耶也還沒說要結帳，怎麼感覺服務員在趕客人快吃完走人，當然當下⋯時間營業結束也還沒到就進門包廂式先點說開過幾瓶飲料等等，我整個暈倒～沒看包廂式裡的每個人的都在談論事情由來嗎！ 我真的感到氣氛被服務員打斷那種心情很差， 好好的飯局被打擾挺不是滋味，下次也不會在來了， 服務員真的太差勁👎，ㄧ直進門打擾吃飯，在談話中最重要話題時也能打斷！...
