The loveliest cafe! The cafe owner, Nico, is the sweetest! Le Radici is located in the lobby area of Hualien's World Inn hostel (though anyone can come in to enjoy a drink), a short walk from the train station.
It's comfortable and serene inside, and after coming here repeatedly, Le Radici felt like part of a home. The environment is beautifully crafted - elegant wooden tables and chairs, earthy mugs, books to peruse, leafy greenery stretching across shelves. I really like how tastefully nature-inspired the interior is. Usually there's some soft music playing in the background; it's a wonderful place to relax or work for a sleepy afternoon.
Upon entering, Nico would always greet me with a gentle, bright smile. She told me the story behind her cafe - how she found new roots in Hualien and chose to name her cafe "Le Radici", meaning "the roots". Nowadays, Nico seems to always be thinking of ways to improve her cafe, whether it be introducing a new dessert or learning new coffee techniques. It's clear Nico is so passionate about her work!
The latte and cappuccino I had here were both excellent, delicately topped with beautiful latte art! There is so much love put into Le Radici, and I hope to be back someday! Thank you for sharing this...
