I highly recommend giving this little gem a try. I have tried several of their coffees in store (drip and syphon) and bought several bags of their beans to brew at home. The first time I visited, the owner - who is very knowledgeable of third wave specialty coffee and multi-certified by the SCA was in the process of roasting some beans in the middle of the store and it was fascinating to look over his shoulders as he was going through the process. The second time I visited, his staff was doing quality checks and going over some green beans to remove unwanted beans before the roasting process. This shows how much care the staff and owners take to ensure a quality cup. The brews in-store were carefully prepared and tasted very good. I was able to taste any of the beans they sell in store before purchasing. I would highly recommend a visit to NanFe Coffee Roasters. They also sell brewing equipment and several teas.
