I’m shocked this place has such high reviews in Taiwan, given how much Taiwanese hate expensive food.
The quality is decent and it is a unique flavor that is hard to find.
But it is really a small amount of food for the price. You can easily pay 400NTD+ here (with no drinks) and still be hungry.
Furthermore, the clerk was about the rudest I’ve ever met. Extremely unwelcoming when I came in, and refused to give me the specific slice I requested (it’s pretty standard when you sell pizza ‘by the slice’ to automatically give the biggest slice or whichever slice the customer requests). I CANNOT believe this was a problem for her, and she wasn’t even close to being polite in her refusal.
Furthermore, the layout of the store is odd. You have to pick up your pizza at the counter which is in a separate building from the tables, and even though there were more employees than customers at the time, they couldn’t just walk the pizza over to us.
To top it all off, 2 dog owners brought their dogs inside the lobby as I was eating and although their dogs started fighting, they didn’t show any concern for the customers trying to enjoy a quiet meal and just scolded them/ let them fight.
