This, combined with the partitions of the restaurant (which I find very odd) make the experience come closer to ordering food home, rather than a dine-out experience.
But the food! Delicious! They clearly understand how to prep and cook the vegetables and mushrooms to perfection. We had the set course and not one dish disappointed. As we were a party of two, we tried both of the mushroom steaks and also ordered the additional bamboo shoots with miso. It was honestly so good.
