青木堂-苓雅店 — Restaurant in Kaohsiung

The place is pretty large, with tables both on the first and second floor. Tables are pretty spacious, with ample room to place all the food items.

They offer a deal where if you get two sets sized L or XL, you get an extra platter of meat that you can choose from (which are like the basic cuts of either pork or beef, etc). The XL sets have better meat cuts, but the L sets are not that bad either, depends on the person. They also offer the option of whether you want a full vegetable veggie bowl, or a veggie bowl that contains some hotpot processed foods, like dumplings or imitation crab, etc. Aside from these, there is also a self-serve bar for drinks and Meiji ice cream.

The service wasn’t that great to be perfectly honest. The clerk at the counter had a badge saying she was the manager, but she had a bad attitude at times and wasn’t very efficient. We made a reservation for 13:00PM, only to be seated at around 13:15PM. Not too bad of a wait normally, but when you consider that they warn you over the phone that your table is reserved for only 5 minutes, I question their efficiency and validity.
