Last time I visited Sushiro was in Bangkok, and it honestly didn’t impress me—the quality just wasn’t there. But the Kaohsiung branch was a different story.
Highlights: Thick, fresh slices of fish, sushi rice that holds together well (no crumbling on the chopsticks), and surprisingly fast service despite how busy it was. Ordering via tablet was smooth, and payment at the end was quick and hassle-free.

A couple of minor gripes: • I couldn’t find the big tempura shrimp on the menu, which I was really looking forward to. • The tablet was sticky and hadn’t been cleaned properly, which was a bit off-putting. Some extra attention to cleanliness between guests would make a difference.
