Traditional style dining environment where you see your food being made from the side table and you share table with others if you're by yourself. Regardless, it's still something you should try once since everyone talks about it when comes to Keelung Badouzi for sightseeing.
If you are visiting on the weekend, there's a parking lot on the other side of the shop, 50 dollars one time fee. The place is small, 4 big tables and some seats here and there. Dunno if they have other seatings else where but not alot. Weekend will be packed and long line, so be prepared to be patient and good luck in the hot summer time.
The dumplings are small, smaller than you think, smallest and cutest I've seen, it's pretty much wonton size and I've seen bigger wonton than this one. I can eat two or three at a time, and currently in 2025 it's 6 bucks a pop, kinda expansive in comparison, and minimum 15 per order, chive flavor only. I ordered 20 and should've gone for 50 instead. They have not only dumplings but also stir-fried noodles with beef, lamb, or seafood, and a variety of side dishes (including braised pork, pig's head, tongue, large intestine,...
Read moreBare in mind, the minimum you can order is 50, although the size is somewhat smaller than your usual dumpling. Shouldn't be a problem though, as those dumplings are splendid. My companion confessed she'd once eaten 40+ dumplings in one seat. Enjoyable, but like every other good thing in Taiwan, there's a long and forever lasting queue. As a queue hater, i don't think i would go...
