We found this cute coffee shop to get recharged and to hide from the untimely rain. Seeing the baristas busying behind the counter adds to the comfy atmosphere, permeated with the smells of coffee beans. The honey whiskey latte caught my eyes. 『小揭商行』位於羅東民生市場旁公正街，這條街距離知名羅東夜市及傳統菜市場都很近，這條街最近半年來開設了三家咖啡簡餐店(另外二家為『巷光咖啡』自烘咖啡店及『貓的生活提案』的簡餐咖啡店)，而且這三家店彼此之間的距離不到二十公尺，將這條街打造出羅東新型態咖啡聚落。

『小揭商行』是由一對情侶所打造的咖啡廳，是以老闆特別的姓氏「揭」來命名，仔細一看，招牌上片的小有眼睛的圖案，這是取自老闆娘綽號「眼眼」而來。  店內除了美式＆調和咖啡之外，也提供單品咖啡(每杯單一價150元)，『小揭商行』自己不烘焙咖啡豆，它只選用日本進口的中淺焙咖啡豆，豆的品項從非洲到中南美洲地區都有『小揭商行』所選用的日本進口的單品咖啡豆系列，喝起來口感比起一般單品咖啡較為纖細，整體咖啡風味僅落在舌頭表面，未溢發到口鼻腔，飽滿度較扁平，單品咖啡CP值持平。

此外，『小揭商行』老闆咖啡沖泡調配的手法專業且獨特，不僅「美式咖啡」有著輕柔單品咖啡風味，其特調隐藏版風味拿鐵「威士忌拿鐵咖啡」更是一絕！其甜點也是不遑多讓，以「戚風蛋糕」、「磅蛋糕」及客製化生日蛋糕為主，由老闆娘「眼眼」每日新鮮現作，其中花生口味的「戚風蛋糕」及淋上糖霜的「檸檬磅蛋糕」是人氣招牌甜點。通常「戚風蛋糕」有分成「乾鬆」及「濕潤」兩種，『小揭商行』的「戚風蛋糕」以鬆軟彈勁為主，口感軟彈細緻風味十足！
