Jibu Coffee

My laptop and I visit a lot of cafes. As an author, I’m always looking for good places not only to eat and drink but to sit and write for hours. As a teacher, I believe in scoring according to various criteria. With that in mind, these are my opinions about this one.

Food: ** I had the raisin scone. It was warm and not very sweet. Quite small, but then, it only cost 50 NT. Drinks: * I had the peanut hot chocolate. It sounded interesting, and it was! Not bad at all. My friend said her hojicha was good, too. Prices: ** Variety of Menu Options Available: * There are only a few food options, mostly sweet. Variety of Non-Coffee Drink Options: ** Several teas, plus milk, hot chocolate, and sparkling drinks. English Menu? Yes, mostly (except for the pour-over coffee section). But my bilingual friend said the English parts are not all translated correctly. Wi-Fi/Charging Ports Available? Yes to both, and outlets, as long as you sit in the right spot. Pleasant Environment/Comfortable to Write In: ** There are only a few tiny tables, unfortunately, and they’re low and not very comfortable to work at on a laptop. There’s plenty of seating along benches against the wall, though, if you don’t need a table. There are also tall stools at the counter. The music is not too obnoxious. Best of all, it’s WARM in here! (This is a cold evening, and my friend and I arrived shivering. They have a good heater!) Customer Service: ** Hours: 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. weekends; 12:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday What was the Restroom Like? Not as clean as I would have liked, but...

Quiet place with excellent coffee and dessert - no wonder with Marzocco machine. Owner definitely knows what it needs to brew good coffee!...

自從意外到訪後沒事就會晃來喝一杯，很輕鬆可以放空一陣的空間，特別適合三倆朋友悠閒的午後時光，闆娘非常親切健談，私心以為這樣的地方還是剛好的興隆就好。
