This place deserves a 5-star review for its decor, design, the cakes and the view. I don’t like giving a bad review. This isn’t a bad review, but I’ll explain why I deduct 2 stars.

Pros: yummy cakes beautiful minimalist design location by the water right off the main road spacious very instagrammable

Cons on the pricy side 10% service fee but you order and pay at the counter yourself. prices are catered to tourists, but there’s no English menu can be filled with 美網 / instagrammers the reverb is loud because there’s no sound panel installed.

A couple reasons why I decided to give it a 3-stars review: they got plenty of staff (over 5 or 6), which I think is great. But when a service charge is added and with that many staff, the cakes shouldn’t take 20 minutes to be served (it wasn’t busy at the time), a guest should be able to take the order at the table. Even the napkins and water are self-served. I don’t get why the service charge needs to be put on top of the prices that are already high. I’m okay paying for more but don’t add the service fee. It just rubs me the wrong way, especially the service we get is basically the same as what we would get at a fast food joint.

This is very minor. The prices here are catered for the tourists. For the two of us, we paid about NT$850, which is okay. It’s understandable. But I think it would be nice to actually have an English menu available. Their Chinese menu is hand written, so it’s quite difficult to read.

Regardless, this coffee shop is a nice, beautiful coffee shop. There are a few other cafes nearby that I’d probably check the next time I’m back in the area. Will I come back to visit this place again?...

This three-story cafe is a great stop for admiring the northern beaches of Taipei. With a great selection of quality coffee and light snacks to choose from, you have great views and peaceful vibe on the third floor to satisfy any afternoon-tea cravings. On the ground floor, there is a swing overlooking the beach for your photogenic adventures.

Even on a weekend, the restaurant makes enough space for its customers, just make sure to call for a...

Note: make sure you make reservations. I made reservations around 2-3 weeks ahead of time. two types of sets you get to choose from:

  1. single origin coffee + a dessert = $490 + 10% service charge

  2. other drinks + a dessert = $390 + 10%

2nd floor has an amazing view and is very cozy you may need to look for parking depending on what time you arrive

Most worth mentioning is definitely the view, and the single origin coffee.

Definitely...
