瑪莎拉印度餐廳 Masala Zone Indian restaurant — Restaurant in New Taipei

It’s a nice Indian restaurant. We ordered beef stew and chicken curry. It was delicious! And my partner ordered shrimps fried appetizers and lambs chops soup and we also loved it and also said that soup it was the best that we ever tried for long long time until now.

We loved food and people there. They were nice and friendly. For sure we wanna go back asap.

This is absolutely my favorite North Indians or we should say the more precisely that was a Pakistani cuisine near Daisha and Sanzhi District. Stumbled upon it 3 or 5 yrs ago—it has a bit of a whole in the wall ambiance as you have to cross a narrow set of coastal road costs some efforts to find an legitimate parking lots to get to the restaurant in one floor. 20200628: ordered beef masala (TWD 350), mughalai quorma (TWD 380), butter chicken (TWD 340), peach lassi (TWD 120), strawberry lassi (TWD 120). curries were insufficiently spicy (probably to suit local tastes) but the server could have asked the question at point of ordering.

each curry came with choice of turmeric basmati rice or plain naan. both the rice were excellent, although the naan was sufficiently excellent--so fluffy inside and crispy outside--that we added another order. each curry generally contained 4 to 5 not-very-large pieces of meat... a bit lacking considering the price point.

peach and strawberry lassi were good, but there seemed to be a lot of air bubbles and the serving glass wasn't very large.

overall, would rate 3.5 stars due to lower value proposition (portions too small) and insufficient authenticity, but rounded up to...

Had dinner here tonight. It was so good! We are huge fans of Indian food. We’ve eaten Indian food all over the world, and this place did not disappoint. The deal clincher was their raita; I am so tired of ordering raita and getting sweet raita...this was not sweet, it was perfect!

Everything was cooked just right and was not oily even if it was fried.
