碧水堂 碧潭店 — Restaurant in New Taipei

This place does NOT deserve such a high rating for the following reasons:

1. for the price of the set I received (above 400 NTD) you can easily find much better food elsewhere, it was average quality and not even enough quantity;
2. the set is supposed to be served with "Taro Rice" but then you get plain white rice. When we asked why they replied that "Taro" is just the name of the rice!!! Sorry, it's NOT acceptable to give names to food that contain precise ingredients that a customer is led to believe to find in its meal!
3. the river view is nice but ... Hallo, you can just enjoy the same from many other restaurants or on the lovely walk...

Good place if you are only there for the view. Food: Hot pot beef was mostly fat. Iron pan tofu, there were only few frozen puffs. Not even the kids wanted to eat it. Kung-bao chicken was mostly flour than chicken. Flavor was not right. Drinks are a generous size of water with sugar. Nice place located in a very nice area. The atmosphere was great and you get to sit facing the waterfront. Service was great and the food was prepared quickly enough.
