I stayed in Taiwan for a month (originally from London), I was shown this place by my host, and I'm so so happy she did, we had breakfast here at least once a week, and on our final week, (now) we are planning on coming everyday. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, the food is made with so much love, this is the real Taiwan experience. I recommend !!!!!! I RECOMMEND!!!!!

從碧潭船渡對岸那頭探路回頭，繞著山路騎到碧潭的「鬧區」。我想小時候是來過這的，但是早就沒了印象。現如今它這狹窄的範圍，可以繞一小圈約莫一百餘公尺的距離，兩旁都是店家，但給我的感覺就像是坪林一樣地沒落與蕭條，只剩下純粹的遊客。在國道五號開通之前，坪林靠著南來北往的遊客和通行者，著寔賺了不少過路財，以往北宜路上兩側的店家，遇到周末假日期間，門口甚至一位難求。對照如今的門口羅雀，足見其地理條件(交通)變遷對環境(生活)的衝擊。碧潭給我相類似的感覺，若非它緊鄰著新店，不然狀況應該與坪林也相去不遠。 路上看到個廿出頭的年輕人，像是在地人準備去搭車的模樣，趕緊問他有無還可以的早餐可吃。於是他說他都只吃這間，事實上幾乎也無其它選擇──如果美而美也算是個選項的話？那或許就有得選了…… 店內都是本地人，和老闆娘交談一看即知是熟客。我隨意點了鮪魚蛋餅和鮪魚三明治，加上紅茶。嗯，我知道年輕人的說法了，知道他為什麼說都只吃這間。因為就是比美而美好些許的環境，稍微細心的處理，起碼坐在店內不會是有種折磨感。那麼我想它也算是某種形式的碧潭都一處或不二坊了。亂跑下的外食就是可以增添許多一次店的經歷，只是有些店你是乘興而去又敗興而返，有些就是隨遇而安。 更多食記谷歌南河雜俎。

They are nice people and have English menu now. Clean and nice. 10/10 扣二顆星,在台灣長大,我知道我們有多少人口吸煙,也知道過去從來沒有嚴格執行的菸害防治法,但將吸煙桌和非吸煙桌放在一起實在時公然的荒唐,騎樓的部分依法本來就不得這樣什麼都沒作就作為吸煙區,但老闆及員工都理所當然的將白色桌子部分作為吸煙區、放置煙灰缸,當室內座位已滿,而客人只能選擇室外座位時,依法認為這裡不得吸煙的客人成為弱勢或錯誤的

For the local breakfast store this one is definitely 5 stars. Clean air conditioned space with outdoor seating as well. Food quality is also a level higher than neighbour breakfast stores. Surprisingly good coffee. Well arranged menu can cover almost all possible preferencies for breakfast and brunch. Sausages, hamburgers, noodles, pancackes, etc. Servuce is quick and polite. The place is popular, so it may be a waiting...

Open early and a Great breakfast restaurant. Laminated menus are available in Chinese and English. Everyone is very friendly. Where else can you get a great small cup of coffee for now a new NT$30? Go out of your way to eat here. Explore the menu and find...
