Söt Cafe — Restaurant in New Taipei

I visit at least once every 2 months. 每兩個月至少會來一次。

Environment: small cozy, with lights to set environment but not for readers. 7 tables for 2, or can combine them to fit larger group. There’s a secret 2nd floor which I’ve never seen people up there. 環境：一樓小小的，有一張大桌、七張小桌，小桌子可以拼成大桌來容納大一點的團體。二樓比較神秘，至今未曾有機會上去，也未曾看過其他人上樓。

Food: A short and concise menu ideal for brunch, includes 2-4 choices from each category from hot served to sandwiches, to pancakes. The price is higher in comparison to the average restaurants in Linkou, however, it is good food and stable quality for the price, like their parent Sot. 食物：一頁適合早午餐的簡單菜單，提供從熱食、三明治、到鬆餅等餐點，每個種類約有2-4個餐點選擇。 雖然比起林口其他餐廳價位相對來說較高，但餐點品質很好，來了幾次品質也都很穩定，偶爾覺得食物會帶來驚艷，個人覺得物有所值。

Service: young but not energetic, no passion for service industry. They will take your order, bring you bills, but goal is not to make you feel like you are welcomed. 服務：年輕的服務人員，顯然對於服務業並沒有熱情。可以提供像點餐、上菜、收桌子這類的制式服務，但對於額外的詢問和服務需求皆露出不耐後要求客人自行完成。 簡單來說，餐點讓人想再來，但服務人員似乎不歡迎。

Twice, I have taken take outs from here, the foods are great. The front desk service is so awful, it leaves a bad taste in the mouth. What is up with all the grumpy face? I mean a smile or a nice greeting would pretty pleasant in the morning! We are not in France!! So again, the foods are great, the front desk...
